The comprehensive Medical Office Administration with Medical billing and coding track program at City College will prepare you for this rewarding career. You’ll gain in-depth knowledge and specialized skills in areas including ICD-10 Coding and CPT Coding, insurance claims management, and medical records management. You’ll also get a solid foundation in anatomy, physiology and other medical basics.
Students get valuable, hands-on experience during a 150-hour Practicum in a medical setting at an approved externship site. Graduates are eligible to take the NCCT examination, which grants medical insurance billing and coding certification and can further your advancement prospects.
